Loxton North School

The Loxton North School is set in the heart of an important Riverland orchard, vineyard and farming area. It is essentially a country school in character, in that most of the children come from families who are associated with primary production.

We have approximately 60 students currently enrolled from Preschool to Year Seven, in three classes and a site based Preschool. Our focus on Literacy and Numeracy, with these curriculum areas being taught in the mornings.There are many benefits for children in a smaller country setting. The school has a caring attitude towards all, is able to cater for a wide range of individual student needs, and provides many opportunities for students in academic, social and sporting endeavours.

The school has excellent facilities, play equipment, sporting ovals, large covered outdoor learning area and our own swimming pool.

We are a site based Preschool to Year 7 and Playgroup is available also through the Preschool. This provides a gentle and smooth transition from home through Preschool to school.
