Established in 1989, Loxton Physiotherapy Service delivers services that reflect and respond to the needs of our community. Our goal is to deliver services grounded in evidence and to empower individuals to optimise their self-care. This approach has been underpinned by life-long learning which drives our professional staff and our support team towards continuous improvement.

As movement specialists, our Physiotherapists utilise a diverse range of modalities to deliver our interventions. Our services include:

  • DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs)
  • Chronic Disease Management Referrals
  • Motor Vehicle Accident Commission

We are proud that we can offer a variety of spaces for our community to engage in active management strategies to help optimise their wellbeing and support their goals. Our ‘Aquaflow’ Hydrotherapy Pool and Pilates Studio is well utilised by the community, along with our group programs including:

  • Mighty Movers – Interactive play-based exercise for our younger generation
  • Nordic Walking – Our walking group with a difference. The Nordic poles provide stability, security & posture benefits and use 90% of our bodies muscles (95% if you smile).
  • Parkinson’s Program – A social and supportive environment for redeveloping neural pathways through exercise, for individuals with Parkinson’s
  • Shake, Rattle & Roll – Our popular falls and balance class which runs each term
