Through the generosity of the community, the Rotary Opportunity Shop receive donations such as quality used clothing for all age groups, furniture, bric-a-brac and a range of other household items. These are sold at very affordable prices.
Any items which are not sold after a considerable period of time are made available to other local groups such as the Carolyn Bristow Wig Library, or other local support groups (eg Domestic Violence) just to name a few.
A friendly team of dedicated volunteers is always available to assist customers each day and make them feel welcome.
Funds generated from the sale of goods are used by the Loxton Rotary Club to undertake and or support local community projects such as the Pioneer Playground, and other town beautification projects as well as enabling projects to be undertaken in underprivileged World communities .
Various leadership and personal development opportunities and experiences are also available each year for young people in our community.
